Kefiyeh
KEFIYEH
A fabric made in Italy for North African markets, of silk warp and cotton weft in varying proportions. Plain weave, either dyed or printed. It is used as a head covering by Bedouins and country Moslems in general. Made on hand looms and by peasant labour.
